OMET's President and Founder, Angelo Bartesaghi, was invited to speak at the Forum PT-2011, held in Dongguan, China, to an audience of the most important names in the world of print.
The event was promoted by the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC). This is the company that organises the International Printing Technology Exhibition of China (Print China), one of the most important trade events in the country, at which more than 1000 companies exhibit on an area of approximately 100,000 square metres. Considering the participants in the Forum, this was a really prestigious invitation.
Among those present were: Akiyoshi Ohno, President of Konica Minolta; Aldo Peretti, CEO of Uteco; Bernhardt Schreier, CEO of Heidelberg; Bing Wang, CEO of Kodak Asia Pacific; Gerd Finkbeiner, Executive and Marketing Manager of manroland; Jean-Pascal Bobst, CEO of The Bobst Group; Alon Bar-Shany, President of HP Indigo Division; Jianglong Xiang, owner of Hangzhou CRON Machinery & Electronics; Jochen Meissner, CEO of Goss International; Ralf Sammek, Executive Vice President of KBA; Roger Blacker, Marketing Manager of Canon; Stefaan Vanhooren, CEO of AGFA Graphics; Zhaodong Zhang, President of The Founder Group.
Angelo Bartesaghi declared himself very satisfied with the occasion: “I felt particularly honoured to be given this opportunity because it allowed me to pass on the experience and knowledge that OMET has acquired in the label sector. For almost 50 years, we have been designing and manufacturing printing and converting machines and now have over 1,000 installations worldwide. The research and development work we have carried out, aimed at innovation in products and processes, has made OMET a world leading benchmark. Our machines are rated first class by their users, who are able to respond to the ever more complex challenges of today's market, whether it is in terms of efficiency, quality, productivity, or flexibility," he said.
