OMET announces with great sorrow that Angelo Bartesaghi, founder of the company in 1963, passed away this morning.
All the employees and associates of OMET Group huddle around the family in memory of a great man, leader inimitable and brilliant innovator.
OMET technical department has recently developed and tested a new production of wheels with polyurethane coating that combines features of maximum smoothness and high noiselessness in situations that require high speed, as in case of elevators.
The wheels have been manufactured hardened
grinded steel. Polyurethane layer can be metallic or plastic base depending on specific requests. The resistance is long lasting, with evident savings
on maintenance costs
The first stage of renovation at OMET headquarter in Lecco, has been recently completed. This significant project concerns the technical, sales and administration departments of the Company, which is specialized in the design and manufacturing of sliding systems.
Especially,
we provided the total restyle of the service plant design, that now looks extremely innovative and in line with the most advanced solutions in terms of energy conservation, as
for example the installation of photovoltaic panels for the production of electric power.
Also the external facade of the building has been completely renewed thanks to a restyling work which emphasizes the architectural lines. Meanwhile, the works
for internal restructuring have started and everything will be ready within next autumn. Comfort and rationality criteria have inspired our choices.
The complete renovation of the test laboratory and the creation of a showroom, where customers can directly view our wide range of solutions, will complete the plan.
Omet Systems in Motion, which has already been certified years ago for special ball bearings, has obtained the quality certification ISO 9001:2008 for design, production and marketing of bearings, complete motion systems such as carriages, linear rails and supports, and relevant accessories.
A further warranty of seriousness and quality for the more and more numerous customers of Omet Systems in Motion.
The need to always have quality under control and larger scale economies take companies producing complex products like shower boxes to look for partnerships with few reliable suppliers.
