TEST AND INSPECTIONS

Each product by OMET is tested and inspected individually. Special equipments, outcome of in-house engineering. simulate the working conditions the product shall undergo.

Several are the tests carried out on bearings, load simulation at axial and radial level; check of performances referring to the number of rounds and at the rotation speed; cyclic tests with rotational motion in both directions, alternate or continuous.

To test how anti-corrosive surface treatments hold on the products to be used in high humidity rate environments equipments with saline fog rooms are used (SST Salt Spray Test) where NSS test (neutral PH resistance), AASS test (acid PH resistance) and CASS test (thermal excursion cycle tests) are carried out , the latter being particularly widespread in the automotive sector. Specific tests are performed on all the products.
