The attention paid by the company to the customer's needs reflects also in a complete training course set, addressed to users, organized on site.

OMET's training proposal includes the following subjects:
  • Ad-hoc training, to be customized on customer specific request
  • Training on the specific machine
  • Training on the specific print technology
  • Training on different substrates, film to carton programme
  • Training on the machine electronics (transparent factory, service and instant press diagnostic)
  • Maintenance best practices.
Training on the specific machine

This kind of training activity, which is foreseen in case of first OMET printing press order- whether being new in the application sector or buying a new item within the OMET range - deals with the following contents:
  • Machine layout
  • General press description
  • Indept technical description and working main instructions
  • Machine safety and operator's safety
  • Working principles and press automation
  • Operator panel and relevant messages
  • Preliminary checks
  • Machine management
  • Start up and production condition
  • Lubrication
  • Machine cleaning
  • Maintenance of the machine on daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Job change over under production condition
At the end of the course the customer will receive a technical diploma as well as a written report about the achieved results (certificate).

  • Flexographic print for rigid and flexible packaging: features and peculiarities
  • Artwork design for flexible packaging
  • Press press area
  • Flexography troubleshooting
  • Anilox roll selection and colour sequence
  • Ink management
  • The flexographic press: most common configurations and main parts
  • The measuring test
Training on print for a specific material

  • Classification of the different label types
  • Substrates and inks used in label industry
  • The flexographic process applied on label sector
  • Offset print
  • Rotogravure print
  • Screen printing
  • The sheet and web fed print presses
  • Surface processing (substrate treatment)
